How many members gave up the dreaded fags on NYD?

Power to all those who want to give up.
I have lost a Father and two wives to the big C and gave up my self (cold turkey) about 7 years ago.
Having said that if everybody in this country gave up tomorrow (I know it won't happen) then where is the 10.7 billion the goverment get in tax every year going to come from?

I've been on the weed for 26 years (I'm 39 .... for now) Ive packed up twice. Once for 4 years and once for 8 months ... I go back to it 'cos I enjoy it! Now, when I get the big "C" or emphacemia( not if, when) Just remind me of this post when I am facing the Boss and having to give an account of my life and actions.
Good luck with the giving up, be more succesful than I.

good on ya mate.....i never last more than a couple of weeks. seems the patches dont like my skin...or is that the other way around. :roll: hope u get tufftee sorted soon....... keep up the good work mate :wink:
