TDi conversion compleat
MTyrrell:
Thanks defnintey I'll go and have a look for that one now.
Thanks mike, how've you sealed the flow back? i have a bolt in there at the moment, if i cant get a TDi housing i was going to see if there was some way i could solder it up.
The starter solenoid decided to call it quits, it's not disengaging so that's got to come off over the weakened, other than that she's running niceley...... touch wood.
Took some phohotos tonight, there not up to much as it was dark and the camera battries gave out, I'll put some better ones on this weakened.
MTyrrell:
forgot one!

see on the above pic^^ ill try n explain what i did witht e fuel pipes
on the filter you have 2 in & one out? & the one on the top gies back to the tank,
on mine i had from tank IN to filter,
Out from filter to injection pump,
return from Injection pump IN to filter
& the one on the top (black in the pic) blanked of the RHS with a bit o fuel hose,a bolt n a hose clip (sweet) & the right goes back to the tank,
basiacally meabs the warm fuel from the injection pump goes back to the tank via the filter (keeps it warm when running) then back to the tank

--- Quote from: "stefan" ---I was lucky, I managed to pick up a complete Bosch filter housing and filter for £15 brand new, boxed at the LRO show at Malvern!
The Tdi difference is amazing isn't it, especially in my case replacing the old 2.5 petrol!!
Now got about 4,000 miles under it's belt since converting.
