3 weeks to 3 months what was they doing. I could walk to the "tractor plant" from where i live in about 3 hours (1/2 hours drive)..

If they tell me its going to be 3 months then they will replace my car as i WILL return it under the unfit for use. (got it end of october 2005).

Darryl

With the problems i had when i first got it,i some how think they wont make me wait that long (Ha sparkes..).

hobbit:
Darryl, as soon as the place opens take it in and complain, especially if still under warranty, got to be worth a moan at them

Tell them that you were stranded for a while out in the middle of nowhere with the family

nichollsm:
Hi Darryl,

How did you get on with your problem.

I had exactly the same happen to me well before Xmas under Warranty. I had to call LR assistance who couldn't correct the problem so got the Disco transported to my Dealer.

The dealer ordered a new barrell to match the key but after four weeks of me ranting and raving at them daily, still no sign. I eventually got them to fit a temperary barrell while the new one was delivered.

Needless to say, still waiting with no indication as to when it will arrive, nearly 2 months now. Apparently the barrells come direct from Valeo in France but no one can tell me why they are taking so long.

My warranty has now run out so I'm just waiting for the call off the dealer to tell me that my part is in but that I now have to pay for the repair.....You'll probably hear my response if this happens!

Nearly forgot....2002 Disco TD5 Adventurer
