merc engine question

Could be from a 609 merc,
as fitted to van type minibuses(breadvans in the know :lol: )

it cant be a sprinter as its a turbo it is more likely a 308 or up wards cant be a sprinter i think

I might be way of course, but check the rotation direction. I once heard a rumour that merc engines ran the other way to most euro and jap angines. Like I said, may be bullsh*@   but Itd be a [!Expletive Deleted!] to have lots of reverse gears...........
