90 chequer plate sill protectors

<< < (3/3)

Kenny:
I really don't know why but the term "rock sliders" winds me up. Not having a go at anyone here, but it's just one of those terms I dislike.

Strange that now I better go out and start rubbing down my rock sliders (ARGH) Sill protectors ready for the respray

On the subject of painting I used some of that Hammerite over rust paint on them before. Rubbed all the rust off then painted, and guess what 6 months later a mass of rust angain. Any tips ?

Damian

ps. I got my sliders from service tune, now rebel 4x4 I beleive for about £90.

Dont you mean Sill Protectors....... :D  :D  :D

Stormin:
Mill Services does powder coated bumpers, so he will most likely powder coat a set of sill bars. Be extra though.
GRANDFATHER??   You wait till Driffield young Tim.

Kenny:
LOL, touche.....

On another note did the rear shocks and springs today. Going great until......... Doing the last nut up on the top of the shock, then click and nothing. Sheered the bolt or the stud. Planning to put a washer in to see if this helps. Is this wize ?

Damian

Sharpshooter:
Its not very clear from your description what you mean. Which shocker and what has sheared/stripped thread??? If you let us know which shocker then we can work out the mounting type. :D  :D
