well, last year, due to crippling poverty, I cancelled Christmas; the kids went to their Dads for the 1st time since our divorce, and I stayed home alone.
I had a piece of steak for dinner and a bottle of wine; normally I would be driving. I watched my choice of TV, and had a lovely chilled day :)
