12 v cable EGR BLANKING

could someone explain the exhaust gas recirculation blanking plate thing you can do, quite a few people have asked if ive done it and i look at em stupid :?
could anyone shed a light on the subject



Is there an online shop other than ebay as 12vcable for lights/cb etc costs so much from our local motorists shop and you never get enough ona tiny roll ! thanks

iv'e seen this, would it do for spots,cb's, other accessories??

I would want more heavy duty, for 4 spots i always run 24 amp...5 amp would probably catch fire!

hi,busher tucker man, ive got a feeling im going to be on that site quite a long time !! i get easily carried away with stuff like this,got my cb today but no disco !! having its belt's done !


least it gives you an idea of what ampage of cable you require,gonna be a long night

Yes the roof lights on the hybrid are fed by a 5 amp wire :shock: Another job to rewire them with something that wont glow in the dark :?

you can fit a dump valve but there will be no vacume to make it open there is a way round it but i dont know how to to it.  joe

yes you can,im sure reaper has one on his disco,was sent some pics etc og how to do it,you need a dumpvalve,a micro switch,a valve & a few other bits,

IIRC you can buy a kit from one of the turbo/intercooler companies that was designed for the pug diesles thta can be modded to fit a landy engine
