Project BIG Blue.
« on: December 07, 2005, 21:12:22 »
I finally got BB into the workshop today and work has started already.

The front outer wings have been removed along with the front headlights and grill. This has been done to inspect the rot that lies within the inner wings, N/S has a couple of holes that can be plated quite well, but the O/S needs a new inner wing as this is to far gone. And I'm happy with the bulk-head.

Next part is to remove both front and rear diffs and replace, work has already started with rear halfshalf and prop being removed. I hope by the weekend to have both diffs replaced.

A couple of photos are located here of the work so far.

Have lots of plans, a bit shorter, and a different front end, but that all I'm saying at the moment. You'll just have to wait until each stage is complete. Fingers crossed it will be at the next www.

It was.
I made the decision to get rid of one of the cars and save some money.
Kate then rushed out and bought a series 3 for herself.
I'm driving Challenger now.
Have a look here to see the development.
