Water Leaks

<< < (2/2)

TUFFTEE:
Back Door is another Culprit? I found this on TUFFTEE and sorted it by re-aligning the door!

K9Jim:
the rear window seals on mine had cracked which allowed water to run in and down into the boot floor, replaced them both and now nice and dry :D

denviks:
mine was the back door the same as tufftee's.....

petergalileo:
After I spent 2 days fitting a new rear flor in mine, I got a build up of water very quickly in the channel just inside the rear door seal.  I looked at the alpine lights, rear windows, I even went over the welds on the new floor with silicone.  In the end it turned out to be the actual rear door seal itself.

I suffered this problem for weeks, giving my freshly welded rear interior a nice rusty coloured measles effect.  I took the rear door seal off for some reason, cant remember why, and after refitting it, the leak cured itself.

Free Drink Spotter:
Thanks to you all for the help .

Reckon I will be busy next weekend sorting this.

The speedo just clicked over one hundred and fifty thousand miles on the
way back tonight. All original mechanically even clutch.
