why it's a good idea to fit inner tubes...

Tubes do work if the bead breaks you don’t lose the air in the first place. tire bands only stop the tire coming off after air is lost in the first place.

saw some one do more or less the same today as well at a RTV they didnt lose the tyre compleatly like that but still did the job.... 10 minutes later another driver did exactly the same

Trouble with inertubes if you lower tyre pressure the bead breaks and the tyre spins ripping the valve out. I run "Secondair" beadlocks with pressures as low as 4psi, but thay're expensive

Actually, the biggest problem is that 'tubeless' tyres are not designed to take tubes. The intenal surface is usually far to rough and damages the tube.
