Which Do I Buy?
Jim-Willy:
--- Quote from: "Bush Tucker Man" ---SWMBO (backed by mother-in-law  ) is suggesting a 110 Double-Cab so I can get rid of the I-W.
It took me ages to persuade SWMBO to let me but it andnow she wants it out of the garage
I want a Station Wagon, not a Double-Cab, but since when has my opinion mattered??

If ya get a tilt like Daves it'll be practically the same although i never seen a green one.

Richard if I was you I'd test drive a Double Cab. They seem to have them in every main dealer, so it should be easier than finding a Station Wagon. They'll drive similar to a SW, so you can size up the TD5\300TDi debate you're having. (Not sure about getting a TDi Double Cab Though), Then you can decide on a vehicle and start hunting in earnest.
Bush Tucker Man:
I've seen a couple of green ones, showed her a 130 Double-Cab the other day & she wasn't impressed
But then again, I've been looking on 'E-Bay' at 'Griffs'

Now your mistake he was presentation. Firstly you show her the 88" Lightweight Restoration Project "you've always wanted", then show her the 130, as an alternative :D

I've had the 'Light-Weight Restoration' before (bag of bolts that it was), as can be seen in the 'My Old Land Rovers'album on my 'WebShots'
Now if I could find a 130 Station Wagon......
Sadly most people who have them built keep them, as they're built for a specific purpose (not a extra mid-row seating/doors example)
I'd want one with a standard 110 stye cabin & a HUGE load-space
