I know :roll: , I was simply pointing out the differance that studs make :wink:
Sadly the cages & medical help isn't the 'be all & end all' as Peugoet found out at the Rally GB with poor Michael Parks.
Don't think any details of the incident have been released yet?, but it msut have been one hell of an impact.

from what i heard about it it was a very high speed impact directly into the passenger door with the car moving sideways.
Its amazing how strong those cars are, but the doors are the weakest point

Snow studs. My General Grabber MT's have the holes in ready- but I can't find anywhere selling the screw in studs. Still- you can guarantee if I did mangage to procure some we would have no winter to speak of!

na na nana na ive got a set of mich XZL's with the studs fitted 7 know of another set of 5 forsale (Collection only)

what i do know being relayed from someone on the scene (medical side) that the seat was pushed on to the top of the gearbox tunnel & the car was also bent around the tree,
