Bit of a report here http://www.offroading.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=233 from fellow Grand Vitara owner.

Well done to Richie & Brett for rasing over a grand for MacMillan and finishing 4th overall.

Nice to see the only Suzuki finish ahead of ALL the Landies   :D
All I have to do now is find a Jeep for next year.........

No problem ...  according to the website we came 38th ... Not last as we had anticipated ;-)

I will point out we had a major problem on the night nav - namely an angry farmer at the start.....after having 43 other vehicles drive past his house at 2am he wasn;t best pleased :(

We had to cut out a chunk of the roadbook :(

It was still great fun though *and* we raised over a grand for the fund too ;-)

He was a tad "sweary". We were civil and gave him the number of the organisers. We than respected his wishes and did not drive past his house. Hopefully he understood our gesture.

dyf

the easier answer is where in wales wasn't it as we headed from hereford to breacon and around that area, then to bath, salisbury, southampton, back to salisbury plain via thruxton race course, then back across wales to near aberystwyth and then on to the runcorn/warrington area, I have just about recovered after having about 2hrs kip during the event
