Agree totally. I've got two girls 7 and 9 and the most important things I've wanted to teach them are manners, politeness and respect for others. If something happens at school its for my wife & I to sort out as well. We have smacked them if their behaviour has been really out of order and after several warnings (not left a mark) and I believe it has further enforced our discipline. Blimey, makes us sound like real ogres, I suppose I can count on one hand the number of times I have smacked them, so it is very rare. On the whole they are really good kids and I'm proud of them. Though they'll probably turn out to be teenagers from hell!!

OURS HAS JUST BEEN EXCLUDED TILL MONDAY LOST HIS TEMPER BIG TIME AT SCHOOL ON THURSDAY. NOW WE ARE GOING TO SEE HEADTEACHER ON MONDAY, WE BRING THEM UP BUT YOU CAN'T BE WITH THEM 24/7,
I WORK IN A SCHOOL SO I KNOW THE PROBLEMS WITH CHILDREN AND PARENTS NOT ALL OF THEM THOUGH.
