disc brake mud covers

should i remove or not! im finding that they are catching herds of  mud in and dont want to damage my discs with scoring on sharp stones ect...but on the other hand without them would do same whats the general oppinion on these items regards colin

front discs will be fine without them but you ned them on rear discs as ive found if they aint fitted & run in the mud rear pads last about 2k miles

still got our front ones fitted, keep meaning to remove them as they trap lots of stones
