Agreed, chop 'em.

One of mine was looking pretty sickly last time I did a wheel bearing (which seems to be pretty regular !) so I just chiselled the remnants off. Give the discs a good hosing down / jetwash after a particularly dirty run but no problems really. Rears are still on though, and look in decent condition surprisingly.

That'll be on the TDi then.  Takes a bit longer on the TD5 I believe  :wink:
