Dumb ass question #1
gords:
I'll pointlessly add my confirmation that they are your air con fans
By the way, if/when you take it offroad and take it through muddy puddles - make sure you give the radiators a good clean out!
I've found that the air con one quite easily clogs up and even worse, the gap between the air con and water radiators is a fantastic trap for mud :x The first time I looked (take the plastic cowling off and ease rad back), I found at least 3 inches of mud in the bottom
Leigh:
Now thats the sort of advice I'll never forget!
Would a air hose do the trick or would that damage the radiators?
Cheers,
Gordon

Umm, that doesn't sound ideal :? I generally use a garden hose at full flow, though a jet type nozzle. When I do it "full scale" I take off the plastic cowling, loosen and move the radiator back. Take the grille off the front and spend (seemingly) forever hosing it from all angles :D
I have often thought some sort of cover over the grille would be a good idea for muddy puddle days :-k Not sure if it would work though?!
