If anyone is driving over for a holiday or golf, do you fancy doing me a favour and towing over a small (6x4) ish trailer. Because over here they are ridiculously expensive ie 1000 euros plus for a cheap one. I will of course cover any expenses incurred, plus show you some amazing off road tracks.......... :D

I'll be passing through in April probably, on the way to north Africa, if you still need it then!  However, aren't ferry charges high for trailers?  Would you actually save much?

Depending on how big/heavy it was - maybe it could be put on the roof for the crossing!?

The Channel Tunnel have carriages high enough for coaches and I don't think you pay extra for the height, you just have to declare it.

By the way, does the offer of you showing "some amazing off road tracks" extend beyond this? Haven't planned the summer holiday yet, you see!

Absolutely nothing at the moment

We don't have a summer holiday planned yet. I've never been to Portugal, but I have no idea what it's like, how to get there, etc, etc.

Would there be enough off road stuff to occupy us for parts of a 2 week holiday, with other "normal" tourist stuff too?

Whereabouts are you, by the way?

Would anyone else fancy doing a Mud Club Portugal Tour?

I am about 10 mins from Albufeira which is on the south coast. We are very lucky here as there is hundreds of miles of off road tracks, its not like the UK, you can drive for hours across land in an area behind a town called Messines which is publicly owned. have a look at these sites to get an idea of the off roading life here http://www.forum-tt.com/ http://offroad.no.sapo.pt/frames/allframe.html
