Wading Plugs
drum:
Anybody tell me what wading plugs should be on TD5 defender??
I have the snorkel properly waterproofed etc. The stock axle breather terminate at the back of the engine, which I reckon is probably pretty good as far as they go.
But I was trying to figure out what Wading Plugs should be used, but I can't see any holes that would need any cos off all that plastic underneath. Which I figure means that it's either well hidden or no existent. (Or I'm blind)
clips:
i thought i had heard from someone that you dont need them in a td5. but i dont actually know what they are or do  it was just a conversation overheard and i happen to ask if i needed them.
-not much help i know, sorry
drum:
Well my investigations would suggest that to be true.
Xtremeteam:
there is one plug in the bellhousing but AFAIK it comes fitted as standard,
probably for those with mono block drives
littlepow:
As far as I could find out from a Land Rover dealer, the wading plugs are for the Timing Cover.
The front axle breather terminates in the back of the engine bay, the rear axle breather terminates in one of the rear wheel archs.
This is for a TD5 90,
Hope this helps.
