New black circles...
« on: October 29, 2005, 17:56:47 »
Hi all,

Its time to think about some new rubber seeing as my Colway's have lasted less than a year and less than 15K miles :-(

I am thinking about BFGoodrich MT's in an equivent size to 750R16 (what ever that is - tyre sizes confuses the hell out of me) or possibly larger if I get my 2" body lift done soon.

I have trimmed arches already so I reckon with a 2" body lift I could squueze some tall old tires under there.

What size should I get and what would be a reasonable price to pay for them?

Cheers

235/85R16 is the same size
I would'nt pay more than £100 per corner, fitted.

Some sizes of BFG are on offer at Paddocks at the moment, MT are around £85 +VAT for that size, around £72 for 235/70AT and £69 for 225/75.
I've just got a MT for a spare, 235/85r16 and I paid about £50+ for it (from a mate, not Paddocks) decent tread pattern and not a remould either.
