I already use memory Map - but for certain occasions, you still can't beat a proper printed OS map :)

I've been to the OS web site and ordered the maps I need - looks like I'll be getting some snazzy binoculars too

Dave:
Ok no worrys

NeilWilson:
OS also do a handy print-your-own map (bit more than a standard map though) that you can centre on a specific location.  When we were on holiday in the Cotswolds this year I would have needed about 3 standard maps to cover the local area.  Cheers.

TimM:
I've got a few clients who have bought one of those so that there business is in the centre, then they've drawn rings to mark delivery charges.

Could be very useful as Neil says for combining 2 maps - where we went to North Yorkshire last weekend laning, I bought 2 maps to cover the route, in hindsight that might have been a good idea then to have the main area of the route in the middle - and only one map....

NeilWilson:
One thing I will change next time is to offset the centered location a tiny bit so it does not end up in the middle of a cross fold.  Cheers.

Neil
