OS Maps

gords:
Where's the best/cheapest place to buy OS maps - on the Internet?

TimM:
For a while I was getting mine from WHSmiths as they had them on 3 for 2. I usually only wanted 1 or 2 but it never hurts to have too many.

(Except now I've got Memory Map aswell!)

Are you after a specific map, or is this just a general query?

I've got a couple of maps for my area, but I'd like to get a few more. I thought someone had recently mentioned a good website to buy them from, but I can't find the post

strapping young lad:
try

amazon
ottakars (powered by amazon)
the ordnance survey site has an online shop too.
waterstones

the list goes on! ;)

TimM:
Your probably right, that's where I would start:

amazon
ottakars
Ordnance survey
waterstones

Of those Waterstones and Ottakers are both run through Amazon so my preference is to have a look at theose two for offers, and then buy frm amazon if there aren't any. OS have an offer at the moment for a free pair of binoculars.

The thing against internet shopping is always postage costs.

I think I payed just over £7 for my last map out of WHSmiths, so that should give you something to price against.

Good luck (and let us know what you find!).
