I'm one happy bunny!!

\:D/ I won a complete Range Rover 3.5 EFi engine, with all ancillaries (except ECU & AFM) for £147!!  \:D/
Eblag has been good to me today.

The engine's for our Rangie as we've had a few problems of late.

We put it in to get the head gaskets done as it was loosing water, pressurising the cooling system and starting on 7 cylinders, coming onto 8 after about half a mile.
When they took it apart they found a crack in the block between the water jacket and the liner on No2 and the gasses were blowing passed the head gasket!   Chuck that block then.

I managed to find a freebie block up here out of a P6 rover which seemed okay. After it was rebuilt with the P6 block we found that there was a bottom end knocking, either mains or bigends. I know.....should have repalced the shells when it was apart!!
Plus it must be a low compression block cos it won't rev past about 3k when you floor it and is very slow on the pickup.

So off to look for another engine and found this on on ebay!!

Now I just have to get it up here!!  :?
