Owning more than one Landy

<< < (3/3)

Ben:
It's on ebay at the moment - see my post in the auctions area...

Have a go at http://community.webshots.com/user/kentzer - try the series album (if the link works). If not, the link in the signature links to my 90 album, which you should be able to get to it from.

Hoping to get somewhere around 1400-1500 for it. 5 days left, so every chance  8)  I've got a norwegian bloke who's after it as well, but he hasn't offered enough money to get me to take it off ebay.

It's a shame it's got to go - I really like it, but weddings are bloody expensive nowadays, so hopefully this'll be my part of the reception meal paid for!

Cheers

Ben

Range Rover Blues:

--- Quote from: "paul_humphreys" ---It has to be buile BEFORE 1/1/1973. But it could have been 1st regestered in jan.feb/mar/apr 1973.

You have to prove it was built before the end of 1972 unless it was registered the first week of 1973, as cars were not produced during the Christmas shut-down.  For a rover group product you will need some sort of proof from Gaydon (or a recognised owner's club) if the tax-exemption had not already been claimed.

A word of warning, the DVLA are not stupid, if you try to claim tax exemption on a car where the logbook has been dormant they will want to know why and can ask to see the vehicle.  They have been know to turn up unanounced.
