if its the grey/silver stuff  then yes thats what scorpion sells,if the post above suggests that all synthetic winch rope doessnt come from the  marine industry its not quite what i ment,some of it does n some doesnt

bet u can get it cheaper from marine suppliers/chandlers as well

when i went to the LRO show at Drifield i was looking at the webbing and thought it seemed a very good idea and talking to the guy at Cranes and Lifting he said it would be o.k regardind overheating on the drum due to the way the webbing is made and this,that and the other and it's heat discipation characteristics.
Was thinking about buying some ready for the Whaddon weekend so i will watch this space with interest!!!!

This is increasingly looking like I might be the guinea pig for this one  :shock:

I don't suppose the guy at L&C mentioned what sort of breaking strain it is?

just noticed that the latest new mwmber is andyT  so i reko he should b along in a bit to give us some more info on synthetic line
