Insurance quotes - feedback sought

(1/4) > >>

hingmy:
I've had a phone call soliciting my business as regards insuring the hybrid. I'm perfectly happy with the performance of the current company but the caller did have a quote for fully comp(no extra vehicle cover) that was cheaper than my current non-complicated 3rd party coverer. On paper my question therefore has an easy answer, however i've had good service from the existing company and found the sales person from the bidder to be a little pushy. Therefore i'd appreciate any feedback you may give regarding Firebond. The figures and policy sound good, but is their service worthwhile?
Thank you all.

Have you gone back to your current company to see if they will match the price, or at least upgrade your cover to FC ?

hingmy:
They het a call in the morning. The loss of other car cover doesn't bother me particularly due to a very nice drive anything policy from work, but after such a long relationship with the existing change, a slight advantage and change for change's sake is not easy.

Bulli:
What you have to work out is the cost of insuring yourself to drive the other cars you drive at the moment. I think this may outweigh any advantage gained by using firebond. I am insured with them and they are ok ...but ive not claimed for anything.
One question though , does you current insurer know you rive other stuff for WORK? When i go on anything work related i get my car covered by work on their policy - otherwise as its work i could be uninsured

hingmy:
Well the work provide me with a nice piece of paper covering for my company car and and any other vehicle used on company busienss :)
