« on: September 19, 2005, 15:16:11 »
Hi all, has anyone had experiance of fitting wheel spacers, if so, what size would give a more stable side slope stability yet not comprimise the on road ride.

there are arguaments for and against. If you love your wheels then spacers are the option but if you fel like you might want a change go for more offset. The wider you go the more stress you are putting on you wheel bearing.
I would plump for a quality set rather than cheapies, a wheel parting company wouldnt be much fun.

I've had a set of Scorpion Racing's Prospacers on the Disco for a couple of years now (25mm thick I think) and no problems with the wheel bearings to date, although they were re-greased when spacers were fitted as I changed the discs at the same time.

I went for the Prospacers cos' at the time they were the only ones that had a europian safety rating.
