In Scotland due to the new access ruling you can take your 4x4 absolutely anywhere! Just so long as it is specifically modified for a disabled person and carrying said disabled person.
Don't know the specifics but that's the general thing.

Could a whatsit challenged person go out with a few friends in their own vehicles as support in case they got stuck..... In a group of less than 4?
