Safety Recall
« on: September 03, 2005, 07:49:10 »
Had a letter through the post :-

'SAFETY RECALL

Chasis Number   xxxxxxxxxxxxx  - Reg No xxxxxxx

As part of Isuzu Motors vehicle monitoring process, we have identified a long-term safety related concern with the ceramic heater on some Isuzu Trooper models.

Our records show that you are the current owner of the above vehicle, which is included in the range of vehicles possibly affected. Relevant vehicles are subject to a safety recall, the response to which is closely monitored by the Vehicle Inspectorate in accordance with the Code of Practice for vehicle safety recalls.

As a precaution corrective measures will need to be taken by an Isuzu dealer. We would therefore ask you to contact your nearest dealer (directory of our dealerships is attached for your convenience). The dealership will arrange a convenient date to carry out the work, free of charge. Whilst your vehicle is having this work performed your dealer will also check for and perform any outstanding service campaign work, this will also be carried out free of charge.

Please fill in the enclosed completion card and hand to your dealer when you take the vehicle for repair, for him to stamp and return to Isuzu (UK) Limited.

If you are no longer the owner of the vehicle detailed above, please complete the attached pre-paid card and return it to us at your earliest convenience.

Thank you for your co-operation in this matter.

Yours sincerely,

ISUZU (UK) LIMITED'
