I almost cried!
« on: August 25, 2005, 18:08:10 »
Nearly there with the move, this should be my last night on for a while as we will be in the new house tomorrow. So to the title of the thread, well as the wife was moving a box to the motor yesterday she dropped it onto a turned up trailer I have next to the Discovery, this in turn fell towards the front wing and you can see the result

Not what I needed before a move. I've enquired as to the cost of repair and been quoted £100  :(
Not a happy chappy at the minute

Well hope to be back online again soon, so bye for now.

Did think about a replacement wing, but it's finding a scratchless same coloured wing in the same condition. Then the few decals would need replacing and also the wheel arch spat would have to be transfered onto the replacement wing.

So I guess fixing the wing as it is now is the better option.

Cheers Jake, almost there after all it's been a long slog, I vow never to move again.

Good luck Andy :D
I know you're not having the same problems that we had.

Keep the kettle, tea-bags, cups & chocolate Hob-Nobs handy.

Oh, & the kids out of the way

I'd offer you a hand on Saturday, but I'm off down Gill early in the morning

Hasn't Jayne got any matching nail varnish for the scratch?
