Winch question
« on: August 22, 2005, 16:21:51 »
I've been offered a winch.

It's a Superwinch OX on a Defender bumper. It has no controls with it and is missing a few bits from the gearbox. Other than that, it looks in good condition. The guy wants £100 for it.

What do you think. Is it easy to get parts for and is it worth having?   :)

Thanks

BTW, the 'Part Number' is 92-52000 and it doesn't seem to have a Serial Number.

I wouldnt pay over £30 for it, if it was a model I knew I could repair, the bumpers nowt special and I cant see the motor. check with Phil at www.winchrepairs.co.uk
to see if parts are a problem,   I have never seen one of these before?
Remember it will come in handy even if you never use it
