bullbar?

(1/2) > >>

big lizard:
can anyone please tell me if a bullbar from a range rover classic will fit a series one disco :?:
thanks adam

Wanderer:
I can't say for definate. The two bumpers take a different line around the headlight area but I'd have thought the chassis mounts are in the same place.
I've seen a disco winch bumper on a RRC.

Paul might be along soon. He'll know.

Jim-Willy:
I Thought i'd read that they are on the verge of banning them. I know at the moment manufacturers have agreed not to fit them to new motors but I thought europe were gono ban them officially across the board?

thermidorthelobster:
This will sound like a stupid question, but what's the point of them?  To protect the lights?  Because you don't see many people pushing bulls around with them.  I can't think of any situation I've been in where a bull bar would have been useful.  :?

Or is it to get into tight parking spaces?

Wanderer:
It would follow from that that they'd go for winches and bumpers next.

AIUI they can't retro it only stop them being fitted after a certain date. I'd have to take a grinder to my winch bumper to take the roo bar bit off.
