Rest in peace dear friend
TimM:
I have only ever used one grinder, I don't do much grinding so I haven't 'killed' it yet.
I've heard that there is not much to choose between different grinders (so I bought a cheap one) - on the basis that its 'just' an electric motor, and it is the discs that make all the difference.
As I don't do much grinding (though I have a Land Rover so I'm sure I will be soon!), I'm still using the 'free' ones that came with it - does anybody agree that 'better' discs either last longer or cut better?
Tim

I bought a B&Q cheepie angle grinder about three years ago and gave it great abuse on my Series III, but it is still going strong.
My half decent drill that I bought last year on the other hand has just given up the ghost... or rather I wish it would!
It has decided it doesn't want to stop when you release the switch and slowly rotates the whole time :x
