What colour was it?

I think its a Mark 1, but need more info.  Have you got a picture?

I believe, but I'd have to check, that it was first owned by either Steve Maddison or Neil Redpath.  Its a very early Mark 1, chassis number less than 10.

It lives somewhere near Thirsk.

The interesting hump on the bonnet houses a huge intercooler.

Apart from that its a "standard" event spec Ibex - lockers, winches, tree cage, nav and communication systems, Simex etc.

Its seen a lot action and is very capable.

i dont think thats 1 of neils old trucks as all of his AFAIN were all station wagons like yours dom,Might have been a steve barras 1 as he teamed with neil & steve

You may be right.

BUT quite a few of the original station wagons have been converted to truck cabs.

Certainly one of Neils originally had a roller shutter as a back door and is now a truck cab.
