EXPLOSIONS IN LONDON!

<< < (6/7) > >>

Nige:
I work out at Heathrow and live in Greenwich - the other side of London. The unofficial word on site is that Al Qaeda had teams at both London and Paris, waiting to see who won.
Now 33 dead.
My sympathies to any one injured and the families and friends of those that died.
I am going to work tomorrow. B*gger them.
Terrorism only works if you are terrorised.
Don't let them win.

Jake:
Nightmare
I was in Russel Square and Tavistock Street yesterday!
My thoughts are too, with the familys

Well said Nige.

Your signature line about Ken Livingstone made me think...... He actually said something sensible today that we can all agree with. He echoed your sentiments.

There are many comments on the BBC website, some from people in New York and Madrid. Most of whom are taking the same approach. Don't let them win. And they are fully qualified to comment.

Wanderer:
Nobody has picked up on this on the news but the bus should have been near Kings Cross but had been diverted followng (I think) a mistake by the driver.
Sounds to me like they were after timing it to happen when people were getting away from the underground.

That's one of their tactics.

They are worse than animals.

I think me and Jude were lucky today, a ticket warden at the Cockfosters car park told me he wasn't sure if the tube was running because earlier on they had power problems ,he said to leave the car without paying the ticket and to check if their had been any developments if they were running to then buy a parking ticket if not then you don't waste the parking money. We went to have a word with the guards they said the tubes were working but with delays this was at 8.30am. A train was about to leave the station Cockfosters to Heathrow we were getting off at Green park but I had to go back and pay my parking ticket. The train left ,I had to get a later one that only got as far as Turnpike Lane. My journey should have put me on the King's Cross/ Russell Sq tube at about the same time as the one with the bomb.

We feel very humble and lucky to be home and alive.

Thoughts and prayers to all
