Some of the action in the story was based in the next village to me - Shepperton, in one case HG Wells is describing an area adjacent to a pub where I spent a good bit of my youth :D

HWMBO saw it and reckoned it was very close to the original story - the book.
Yeah ok it's based in USA rather than UK, but I for one was glad of that, the effects etc very good, and It was easier to watch the yanks getting the XXXX beaten out of them rather than the Brits!
Eldest reckoned he wasn't scared, though I think he was determined not to 'scream like a girl' and prove li' bro' right :wink:
