IBEX In Holmfirth
« on: May 30, 2005, 16:50:39 »
I was coming home this afternoon after a gentle laning trip around the New Mill/Holmfirth area.

This is the 'Last Of The Summer Wine' town for anyone who doesn't know
As I was climbing back out of Holmfirth up Station Road (A635), I saw a camoflaged IBEX heading into town, it also had one of those narow (18inch) light-bars on the roof.

I flashed the lights & gave a 'thumbs up', but got a quizzical expression.

Nice motor though

People dont wave to Discovery and Range Rover drivers
They asume that we're not into off roading.

I must admit that i only wave back to Disco/Rangy drivers unless they're modded.  Too many are never used properly.  Like my Fathers!!
