Why Me!
« on: May 28, 2005, 17:13:50 »
Dose anyone have any thoughts on this its annoying me now,
I rebuilt the engine on the 110 (2.5TD) new pistons, rings etc because it had three cracked pistons, It's been fine for 170miles now two days after taking it for it's MOT the air filter is full of oil again.
Haven't had a chance to put a compression tester on as it as I only noticed this afternoon. Is there anything else that could be causing it? There is pressure in the rocker casing but not as much as last time and it's not loosing as much oil.

Or is it time to cut my losses and get a 200tdi.
Regards
Matthew

All of the TD s that I know of have all had problems and push oil into the air filter.

A Tdi is a far better engine.
