If they're run by the same peeps that ran Scrapiron Racing. People would well advised to stay well away from them.

They are two seperate companies.  Scorpion racing used to buy that tow hitch from safari equip.
If you want one like that then deal with safari equip, if you want a stronger one then look at the southdown one.
I have the southdown one and it is very well made and a lot more structurally sound

The south down one is damned heavy though, 36kg IIRC.

You'll find a lot of US places sell similar ones to that as the 2" square reciever is a standard over there, you can get accessories like towing eyes and winches to fit (anyone notice the 'zuk on TG came off the barge with it already fitted?)

Scrapion used to make a front receiver for the 2" bar to fit a winch bumper so you could have a front towbar, you can aslso get front recievers that mount to the chassis instead of a winch bumper.

while in the states in aug i was looking at this design. it seems a great idea to me. you can have all sorts of accessories that fit the reciever inc vice plate , recovery eye, drop plate , winch plate etc etc.

they are cheap to buy in the states ( as with most things ) but i bet shipping would kill that idea
cheers

Might be worth investing in a load of them and selling them on to make a bit of cash.

Is that on a 90 or 110?

I don't think they do one for the Td5 90, but that was a while ago.

That is made by Safari Equip.

Andy

Everyone bet me to it.

I had one on my old 90V8-CSW a few years ago, t'was a decent bit of kit, if a bit rattly at times with the 'BWSOW' hitched up.

http://www.safari-equip.co.uk/

When they were at their old premises, just off Leeds Road, you could go & collect from the, or perhaps request (show them a design for a custom product)
I had the detachable section made with a longer drop-plate whilst I waited

Presumably, you still can??

check out Guardian.
I had one from them on my RRC, it was intergrated with a tank guard and was top quality.
Spencer can probably make one if you give him your specs.
