Most probably the motor has seized from lack of use.
1. Range Rover Classic 300tdi SE Auto Softdash
2. Range Rover Classic 300tdi SE Auto Softdash, apparently very rare.

I took the stepper-motor off today. gave it a clean washed down with wd40 smacked it with a hammer ect ect.

Now the dash is telling me to select neutral when ever i try to select low range.

Is there a switch somewhere on the gearbox to show im in netural ?

Any ideas
Paul
