3 days to on ebay need info

Not sure what to do as i need to find out if i  need a roll cage,

Looking to buy a rag top on one ebay at the mo for 420.00 which includes rollcage, But to get new from exmoore trim they or only 750.00 inc" del"
But i have been told if a place a rag top on my defender by law i have to put a rollcage on it aswell is this right or is it were someone has been talking to the idoit
down the pub again.

Yes if you are trialing a ragtop then you need a roll cage, but to use it on the road you do not need one.

thanks for that but really a bit light greening really and mybe of to billing so i take it i will have to get one anyone have any good ideas were i can get one from.

A roll cage is not required by law AFAIK but you will need a way of mounting seatbelts. Something like ebay number 140312010794 would be ideal.

i would personally go for a roll bar, as even the standard hard top isnt particulary strong in a "major whoopsy" ... would you rather sit in a tent or a climbing frame with 2 ton of metal on top of you?!?
