Tread plate kits
« on: March 06, 2005, 09:13:55 »
Hello all,

I have recently bought my first Land rover, replacing its engine next week (2.25 l Diesel), and am looking to kit out the back in checker plate.  Obviously the cheapest option would be to purchase a sheet and then cut it to size, but I am sure there are kits out there.  Should anyone know of any such thing then let me know please.  I am also looking to replace the existing dash with the same material.  Has this been done before?  Anyone got pics.

Thanks folks,

Place near me does an 8' x 4' sheet for £51 + Vat (free delivery localy) they will also cut up the sheet to your requirments but I dont know how much they will charge for that. Drop me a PM if you need more details.

Thanks guys, don't suppose you have seen or heard of a checker plate dash before though?  Would love to see an example before I make my mind up 100%.
