Got my Mot due in the morning wish me luck  ;)

been out there today fiddling with all the bits i can  8-[

Got it to start "no problems  :shock:"

Got the washer jets to work finally "last owner covered em in nato green" its amazing the things a mini drill can do lol

New Bulb in brake light "thanks frankieboy"

Several Very interesting stops to free up the brakes still not brill but hey its a series lol

so lets hope the mot man loves landys and i get a nice pass  [-o<

make sure you ride the brakes as much as possible on the way to the test centre, clear off as much rust/oil as possible
thats the one thing that i always fret over, i know the brakes stop the thing, but are all 4 brakes working right? one year my back axle wasnt doing any at all! it felt fine to me ;)

 :roll: Due to various reasons it didnt go in as planned  8-[ so its rebooked for today at midday  :lol: hope it passes or i cant get to work tonite "o what a shame"  :-k wondering if id get away ringing in cos the landrovers sick....

that has to be the shortest mot test ever

got to the station grease monkeys all over the old gal proper landy fans one even offered to buy it which i stupidly replied no i wanna mot and use it.

tester drives in it............ shakes his head
tester drivers it out

fuel is leaking allllllllllllllllllllllllllll over the place from the rear of the left tank  :evil:

so im now home and sulking no actualy ranting about the parent hood of said landrover  :evil: :evil: :evil:

Ooooooopppsss, didn't you notice before you took it in  [-X [-X anyway can't you just drain the left tank (I think the fuel pump feeds off the right tank??)  then make sure the crossover tap between the tanks is closed and take it in again, (no fuel in tank = no leak!!!) just a thought :-k :-k

lol no m8 i didnt notice b4 i took it  :oops: to be honest it has sat at the top of the drive for the past 2 years as a oversized cat basket  :oops: i just slung some go go juice in her and trotted off :)

but yes im going to try the drain the tank route but im certain theres a return feed into it so unless i can find it and route it back to the right hand tank it will still do it  :'(
