range rover central locking

when i go to lock the car with the key from the drivers side the lock goes up ,down,up,down about 6 times before it finally locks and now its starting to get on my nerves
plz anybod help ???

One of them is probably sticking and not locking fully, so they reset themselves.

It stops after a few attempts to save the motors from burning out.

Try locking them from inside and see if one of the buttons doesn't go down properly.

its the drivers side solenoid/actuator  kev.
if i can still see my bonnet then the water aint deep enough!!!!

i brought another drivers side actuator and still does the same

See above.  If pushed I'd guess the passenger's side.
