Ok me again.
Im needing to do some serious bulkhead refurbishment and possibly will strip one, weld up and the repaint. Also when I do the gearbox I was thinking of painting the seat box and backs while its all disassembled, partly cos mines blue outside and green inside.
The question is how to repaint it?
Its not a big area.
The finish does not have to be A1 as its a rough old thing.
I don't own a compressor (but may want an excuse)
So am I looking at so many spray cans from halfods that its expensive
Buy a compressor is about £100 but then any later jobs will be less and I can get an air ratchet etc and I am a sad tool fetishist.
Take it to a professional
If I spray I was thinking on "maintenance paint" due to its hard waring nature. Any other ideas for finishes?
