Wow!
That got *slightly* off topic

Look, Neil, I've never met you in person, and god knows we've had a couple of virtual run-ins. Nevertheless, since day 1 you've struck me as someone with his head properly screwed on (albeit the quality of the screws is questionable). If someone cannot or will not behave other than like a total moron, I very much doubt that it is any of your doing. If you stop posting, as someone said, they'll feel vindicated. Someone quite wise said once:

On top of that, we all need a Range Rover driver to take the mickey off :D

Having seen the thread and the status of the other protagonist ie on probation, how come was it allowed to get so far out of joint as to lead to a forum primary leaving?

I have, not a pretty sight      but even so would be sadly missed if he doesn't pop his head up again.

Neil (Thrasher) was the chairman of the DOC when I first met him and was a pleasure to work alongside. So come on Neil, we've been through this before and come out the other side to fight another day. Life's too short!!!!

Well, thankyou for all your comments, and PM's. I was happily moderating the forum and spotted a want I could fulfill. Posted... then thought ....

So it just goes to show, that I've not got the will power to resist posting

Well, it's been a while since I've had an opportunity to check out MC (been starting my own new business AND working nights).  Another fight.

Neil, you prat!  I HAVE had the fortune to meet you (albeit a long time ago, probably before MC existed), and you're a top bloke.

However, I'm going to stick my neck out and call you childish.   :D  <- BIG SMILEY

You're missed on "that mailing list" (certainly by me), and MC certainly won't be the same without your ramblings.  Don't let the [avoid expletive filter  :) ]s grind you down.  Just ignore them, for my/our own selfish benefit.

You've got to fight for what you want

For all that you believe

It's right to fight for what we want

To live the way we please

------------

As long as we have done our best

Then no one can do more

Don't let the [!Expletive Deleted!] grind you down but most of all don't sweat the small stuff.
