Which Wheels Have I Got?
« on: March 01, 2007, 09:35:16 »
I'm trying to find an alloy spare for my 90, and think that mine are Boost Alloys. However, I've just been looking on eBay, and some of the wheels on there that claim to be Boost don't look quite the same.

Mine (click on the thumbnail to see an enlarged version - Don't think you'll tell otherwise!):

eBay one:
clicky

Any ideas? Do I have Boost, or are mine actually Deep Dish?

I'd like a matching spare, even if I put a wheel cover on it!

If the rain stops, I'll pop out and get a photo of a wheel onto the webshots album that the thumbnail links to.

Cheers

Ben

Ben they're called 'Boost'

I had them on my Discovery 50th, they're also on the 'Tomb Raiders', but painted black
(also fitted on 'ES', or was it ?, 'GS' Discovery 1s)

Other people get confused between the deep dish (xs) and the boost.
Unpassable you say?!

The 'Heritage' has 'Deep-Dish'

In fact these 2 wheels are the only (genuine LR) ones cleared by the factory for the weight of a loaded 110

you should have no problem finding a single Boost on ebay with new tyre as a lot come up.

Most of them nicked off the back of Defenders I suspect.

Cheers
