You have a early ninety. the defender name was only put with the vehicle when the 200TDI onwards engines were fitted.

FYI

1971 - 1983 Series 3 models made
1983 - 1990 Ninety / One ten / One two severn (127) model years
1990 - to present day, Defender 90 / 110 / 130 model years.

Sorry but don't know of any online parts manuals.

SAL   Manufacturer code: Land Rover
LD   Model: Defender (for early models: Ninety, or One Ten)
V   Wheel base: 92.9 inch, but designated 90
B   Body type: 2-door station wagon, or hard top
H   Engine type: 2.25 litre petrol
8   Steering and transmission: Left-hand drive (LHD), 5-speed manual (LT85, LT77, LT77S, R380 or other)
A   Model year: 1983, 1984

Quite a lot are, or at least are close to standard.  Prime example, out of ten Series vehicles I know personally of, only two have something different in the engine department.
