over heating ?

can any body tell me how to get round my over heating problem,
no not mi radiator i recently installed a new kenwood cd player with amp and bass box but after a couple of hours the cd play getts so hot u can melt a cd in and its a tight squeeze were it is with it being a 93 200tdi disco or would i be as well changeing my dash board to the later 300 type

One way round this problem is to make some ventilation holes into the console area, on both sides, you can then fit a small fan off a pc, which is 12v to one side and push/or pull an airflow through the section

Something like this should do the job, you could fit one each side to push in and pull out
