24V convertion
« on: July 31, 2006, 19:47:47 »
I need to convert a 300tdi from 12 to 24 V.  A second hand engine with all the bits is 24V.  I need to switch all my lights and relays to 24V.

I live in Germany at the mo.

Can anyone suggest a company I can approach to get the bits I need?

I will need all the dash lights convrting too.

I wish this project would just hurry up and finish!

But I don't think it will if I keep making simple mistakes

OK tried them, they suggested other companies, no luck there either.  If I can get part numbers from Land rover, can anyone suggest where I can get them from (relays and dash bulbs), other than paying the Land Rover dealer prices?

I think it would be quicker and easier to change the 300tdi to 12V.

24V parts like bulbs & relays are available from any commercial motor-factor, no need to buy them from LR. Are you looking at changing all the vehicle components as well (wiper-motor, heater motor etc etc)?
